COMPETENCIES (SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & ATTRIBUTES) REQUIRED                    

  • National Senior/Matric certificate, and three (3) year Financial Management/Accounting tertiary qualification (NQF 6/National Diploma).
  • Supply Chain Management qualification will be advantageous.
  • A valid driver’s licence.
  • Five (5) years of administrative experience.
  • Two (2) years of relevant management experience.
  • Supply Chain Management experience.
  • Understanding and application of computer software packages.

  • Maintain accurate payroll processes. Ensure payroll processing faults are minimised and monitor that the month-end payroll process complies with monthly payroll cut-off dates.
  • Resolve all remuneration and pay queries/inquiries.
  • Maintain accurate administration of leave processes in accordance with Legal Aid SA’s HR policy.
  • Maintain accurate administration of attendance management processes in accordance with Legal Aid SA’s HR policy.

Applications are invited from persons interested to fill the above-mentioned position. The incumbent will be appointed on a permanent basis. The position is based in Nelspruit and the successful candidate will be required to travel.

KEY OUTPUTS

  • Provide legal representation to farm occupiers, labour tenants and restitution claimants at High Court level.
  • Handling of complex land-related matters.
  • Training and supervision of Candidate Attorneys.
  • Perform office administration.
  • Represent women, children and landless people in land-related matters.

COMPETENCIES (SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ATTRIBUTES) REQUIRED

  • LLB degree.
  • Admitted attorney or advocate (the latter must have completed pupillage successfully at an institution recognised by Legal Aid SA).
  • Legal representation at High Court level.
  • Minimum of at least seven (7) years’ post-qualification experience of which five (5) years must be post-admission experience.
  • A minimum of four (4) years of High Court experience, or a minimum of six (6) years of Regional Court experience and experience in land matters.
  • Proven track record in civil matters at High Court level.
  • Valid driver’s licence.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Analytical thinking.
  • Team player.
  • Self-development orientation.

SALARY: LP 7 (R797,901.00) all-inclusive package per annum
