What will Legal Aid SA do?

1. We will acknowledge receipt of your complaint within 2 days of receipt of the complaint.

2. We will investigate the complaint. In this investigation we might need to talk to you to obtain further information or clarity.

3. We will speak with the person about whom the complaint is to obtain their side of the complaint.

4. We will respond to you in writing once the investigation is complete. This will be within 14 working days of when you lodged the complaint.  

5. Where our systems and procedures were not followed in your matter, we will ensure that the issues are resolved.
